Deva Alias: none Alignment: any Role type: Manipulative Choice: Night Status: Historical

A Deva is a role that can give players karma, making any actions that player performs also affect themselves.

Standard version

The Deva targets a player during Night. Any actions that the Deva's target performs will also be considered to be self-targeting. A Deva splits actions into two and causes players to target themselves with their action along with their intended target. This may result in an investigative role getting multiple investigation results on a single Night.

Variations

A Brainshocker causes an action performed by a target player to themself. Brainshockers are similar to Devas but don't leave the original action in place.

• Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will make any actions performed by your target also target themself.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.
