Marseille Mafia is a 12 player Open Setup based on the original Paris Mafia, which was found to have flaws. In Marseille Mafia, Mimes to seek to be eliminated in the same method in order to win, while town must remove all anti-town factions.

Setup

Mechanics

  • Daystart
  • Mafia and Mimes each have daytalk.
  • In order for Mimes to win, they need to be both lynched or both nightkilled.
  • Town must eliminate Mimes and Mafia alike to win. In the event, a Mime cannot be lynched or NK'ed (or any other form of stalemate occurs), a tie will be declared between alive factions.
  • It's possible for Mimes and Mafia to both achieve their wincon at the same time (Mafia hammering the last Mime to take a majority) - in this instance, the Mime's wincon will resolve first.

Standard Role PM's

Vanilla Townie

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Vanilla Townie.

Abilities:

  • Your weapon is your vote, you have no night actions.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and there is at least one town player alive.


Town Jailkeeper

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Jailkeeper.

Abilities:

  • Each night, you may "jailkeep" a player in the game by PM'ing the mod. You will simultaneously roleblock and protect that player from one nightkill.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and there is at least one town player alive.


Town Compulsive Vigilante

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Compulsive Vigilante.

Abilities:

  • Each night, you must select a player in the game to target for a nightkill. If you fail to choose, your action will be randomised.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and there is at least one town player alive.


Mafia Goon

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Mafia Goon along with your partner [Player Name].

Abilities:

  • Each night, you or your partner may select a player in the game to nightkill.

Win condition:

  • You win when both Mimes are eliminated safely, and the mafia controls a majority of the town (or nothing can prevent this).


Mafia 1-Shot Bulletproof Goon

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Mafia 1-Shot Bulletproof Goon along with your partner [Player Name].

Abilities:

  • Each night, you or your partner may select a player in the game to nightkill.
  • If you are targeted for a nightkill, that kill will fail. You will not be told if this ability gets used.

Win condition:

  • You win when both Mimes are eliminated safely, and the mafia controls a majority of the town (or nothing can prevent this).


Mime

Win condition:

  • You win when both you and your partner are eliminated in the same way (both lynched or both NK'ed).
