My style of play is unconventional at best, and distracting at worst. I prefer to ask questions to players, hopefully trick them into revealing something incriminating. I believe the best way to play as scum is to play as you would as town, no matter the consequences for your team. I believe that bullshit, statements made without regard for truth, is anti-town. I believe aggressive tunneling is anti-town. I believe that not everything WIFOM is useless.

About Me

The first thing you should know about me is that I do not suffer fools lightly. If I called you a dumbfuck, that is because you were being a dumbfuck. The best way to stop me from calling you a dumbfuck is to stop being a dumbfuck.

I hate Harry Potter. It's Umbrage, not Umbridge. You'd be surprised how many people make this mistake.

What else? Well, I'm Canadian, I'm a university student majoring in psychology, my favourite band is R.E.M., I play the occasional video game, I've studied ballet and other dance forms for most of my life, and I'm a Grade 9 level pianist.

My Style

I prefer to ask questions to players, hopefully trick them into revealing something incriminating. I believe the best way to play as scum is to play as you would as town, no matter the consequences for your team. I believe that bullshit, statements made without regard for truth, is anti-town. I believe aggressive tunneling is anti-town. I believe that not everything WIFOM is useless.

My Games:

Game: Newbie 1036

Role: Vanilla Townie

Result: Town Win

Thoughts: I replaced into a very scummy slot, and although I was probably doomed from the start, I didn't help matters by playing very passively. The rest of the players grew impatient with me. I ended up being quickhammered by one of the scum, which was one of the reasons that scum was lynched the following day, so I guess I was able to do some good in my short stay.

Game: Newbie 1039

Role: Town Cop

Result: Scum Win

Thoughts: I have mixed feelings about this game. I replaced in just as my slot was going to be lynched. I managed to turn the tides and start a bandwagon on the player who was leading mine. I got him lynched, and he thankfully flipped scum RB. Only to find myself dead the next day, despite my slot softclaiming. So yeah, I hate bad docs.

Game: Rivertown Mafia

Role: Vanilla Townie

Result: Replaced Out

Thoughts: God this game was horrible. There were two kinds of players, VIs, and those who refused to lynch VIs. I was the only player who was really trying to win, everyone else was just throwing insults around and spamming the thread. When I tried to get instill some order, the mod threatened to kick me out. I had had enough, and replaced out shortly after.

Game: Mutiny on the High Seas

Role: Scum Role Cop

Result: Scum Win

Thoughts: The town was fairly weak, and we totally had them fooled. I pulled off some excellent distancing with my partner, AurorusVox. In lylo, I sacrificed myself, letting my partner smargaret claim watcher with a guilty on me and a townie, a maneuver that luckily worked and led us to victory. I figured I was dead that day anyway, but I still can't help but wonder what would've happened if I had claimed instead. Oh well, it was a great game, not perfect, but still pretty good for my first scum game, I feel.

Game: Call of Cthulhu 5 Player Mafia

Role: Suicidal Hunter

Result: Town Win

Thoughts: My first Marathon Game. Not sure how I won. Most interesting part was when I had to hammer myself to trigger my revenge kill before I was shot. Yeah, it was a fun role.

Game: Call of Cthulhu Mafia II

Role: Cult Leader

Result: Town Win

Thoughts: This game is a blur to me, it took place right after the prequel, and by that time all my brain power was used up. I shouldn't play late at night. I remember yelling a lot, and mixing up the players' names. Apologies to everyone with whom I played.

Game: Execution Mafia

Role: Vanilla Townie

Result: Modkilled

Thoughts: If someone prematurely hammers a VT, then kills, and admits to killing an unclaimed PR, do you think they should be lynched? I thought yes. But the fucking idiots in this game opted instead to go for the easy newbie lynch. My protests were in vain. After I was dead, you'd would think they'd listen to what confirmed town had said, but no, they mislynched a third time and lost the game. Morons.

Game: Open 289 (Hard Boiled)

Role: Mafia Goon

Result: Mafia Win

Thoughts: A pretty good game, if a little easy. I won by using distraction tactics and having great kill choices.

Game: Lovers Mafia!

Role: Town Lover

Result: Werewolves Win

Thoughts: Caught scum right off the bat, but illness stopped from contributing as much as I'd like to have had, and idiot town lynched me. Ah well, I was proven right in the end.
