Overall, I consider myself an intermediate mafia player. I've read quite a lot of mafia theory, and do feel I can hold my own in most games. About Me
Hey there, I'm Saru さる (Japanese for monkey) and my avatar is of the villain Specter from the PlayStation game series known as Ape Escape. My username also stems from the game, as one of the spaceships in Ape Escape 3 was called SARU-003. I'm A.K.A. Saru786 in most other places.
I'm an English Major in college and hope to go to South Korea/Japan to teach ESL in the future. I'm also quite interested in linguistics, and know how to either speak, read, or write 7 languages including English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic, Korean, and Japanese.
I also have a strong love for political science, especially concerning American Politics. I consider myself a strong Right-Wing Libertarian but recently have been moving towards being an Independent.
History With Mafia
I started playing mafia at a very young age, somewhere around 2005 or 2006 on a forum called PokeNet by chance not knowing what I was actually getting into. The site itself no longer exists, but I have many fond memories of my games on there as a total newbie. Basically learned the ropes from the dozen or so games I played on there and then took a break.
Started playing again in late 2010 to late 2011 on a forum called ScoreHero. Played 4 or so very large(usually 20+ players) games on there and then played some more smaller and shorter games on MafiaHero. I stopped playing forum mafia around early 2012 and moved onto chat mafia with EpicMafia. Played there on and off from late 2012 to mid-2014.
