An Invitational Game is a special type of game occasionally run on special occasions or to showcase elite players. Invitationals are outside the Queue system, and as such do not count against limits on number of games. Game Moderators wanting to run an invitational must get permission from mith.
(01/20/06 - I am not currently approving new games, though you can always try to change my mind if you have a particularly interesting idea. This will probably change in the near future anyway, as there are plans for a more regular schedule of invitationals. -- mith)
