In-depth

Known anywhere else on the internet as Tavalatte, I joined the site December 3rd, 2010 but I didn't start my first game until April 12th, 2011. Why? Because I didn't really join the site to play, I was just dating someone who used the site so I thought I'd lurk around.

Anyway, Glowball was created just for fun but the name grew on me. Feel free to call me Glow for short, and do not be surprised when I light up your life ;)

My Playstyle

I am a girl. I have the power of sensation. I have the power of perception.I am socially aware. I am emotionally aware.I am the result of constant exposure, opposition, & praise. I am positive & negative. I am an exceptional feeling. I am not a constant state. I am sensitive.

You will probably play a game with me in which you think I am scum and town at the same time. Why? Because: "Scum would never be that obvious" and "Town would never be that ridiculous". My outlook on this game, is to break down what you expect me to do- and do what I feel is best. I will never intentionally mislead my team, or try to lose to uphold Meta, but I will probably unintentionally confuse you as town or as scum.

Theory

Scumtells

I find that scumtells can be completely worthless. I even have a theory that scumtells are tall tales created/told by the mafia to make a townie out to be scum.

Scum=Town

If you're scum and you can read the forum, then you can read the wiki and you know exactly how to act pro-town. Just the same, townies can contradict themselves when they are new or just not paying attention and come off as "scummy".

Motivation & Reaction

Looking for motivation behind actions that are deemed "scummy" is going to tell you a lot about the person, and the accuser. Will it tell you definitively who is town and who is scum? No. It just gives you more of an edge if you can see why scum would benefit from something, or how they wouldn't. Reactions to pressure/attacks are something I find are rarely faked. What you have to determine is if their reaction is appropriate for town or for scum, and what they could gain from that.

WIFOM

Is only a danger to those easily manipulated.

It's not always what you expect, but sometimes it is.

Not every play is well thought out. Sometimes NKs are just kills and if a PR dies it's lucky for scum. Same can be said for plans orchestrated by scum, they don't always go as planned. Point is: Don't over think it- and don't assume everyone will play like you.

BlackListing

Black listing is lame, and this is coming from a woman who has only played one game and has not been blacklisted yet(although I am sure it will come) =P. It's an widely accepted excuse not to allow certain players to play because you don't like their style. Conform or Die?! Give me liberty or give me death.

• With a little more experience I realized that there are always exceptions to the rule. I truly only blacklist for attitude because I think it is unnecessary to insult and make my game less enjoyable or be arrogant and self righteous . Very few people will earn a blacklist SOLELY for undesirable playstyle.
