Post Hoc is an argument in which someone uses the fact that something happened before an event as evidence that that thing caused the event to occur. For example:
- Player A: I think Player X should roleclaim.
- Player X: I'm a Cop
Player X is later Night Killed
- Player B: Player X was killed because they claimed cop. Player A made Player X claim. Die scum!
This logical fallacy is sometimes used as an attempt to make it look as though a player is using OMGUS, when in fact, they aren't.
