General

  • Age: 20
  • Location: England
  • Occupation: Student
  • I stumbled across mafiascum in May 2006, while on utopiatemple.

Newbie Games

  • Newbie 224 (The Mickey Mouse Club) modded by Nai. Town wins.
  • Role: Mafia (lynched day 3):
  • My first game of mafia. Didn't play it too well, on day one I made alot of newbiescum mistakes. Somehow avoided being lynched until day 3 when I was rumbled by the cop and couldn't explain away my day 1 actions. There was alot of lurking in general.

  • Newbie 253 modded by MeMe. Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 2)
  • I was happy to get my first win ever. Day 1 we mislynched on a scummy townie, but the doc stopped a kill on me night 1 and day 2 the cop claimed. We worked out who the scum were by process of elimination, helped by a dodgy counterclaim attempt by one of the scum.

  • Newbie 267 (Go Pop!) modded by Save the Dragons. Town wins.
  • Role: Balloon - Townie (survived)
  • A good game, which had me doubting on more than one occasion. The cop played a slightly odd game so that the scum wouldn't nightkill him, it paid off in the end when I trusted him in the endgame.

  • Newbie 289 (Powerpuff Girls Mafia) modded by Thok. Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (lynched day 2)
  • Probably my worst performance to date. Also the first time I was lynched as town. I played vaguely on day 1 and made some unfortunate comments that tied me to the scum we lynched. The last scum played very well.

  • Newbie 280 modded by logicticus. Town wins.
  • Role: Normbot - Townie (survived)
  • A 26 page marathon, longest newbie game ever. High quality discussion, and numerous twists and turns along the way. One of the most enjoyable and nervewracking games I've played in.

  • Newbie 309 (Fuwochichi v The Sandwich Army) modded by Save the Dragons. Town wins.
  • Role: Private - Townie (survived)
  • A weird newbie game. A small flavour issue led to the very experienced cop outing himself as non vanilla in his very first post, and I had difficulty trusting him all game. However, he bagged us a guilty on day 2 before being killed on night 2. In the endgame, the scum voted for me early, but I managed to outalk him FTW. Nervewracking endgame.

  • Newbie 313 modded by Maz Medias (replacing AndrewS). Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (endgamed)
  • I replaced into this game on day 1. The modding was poor and led to a new mod taking over, and mass replacements. The scum had us pretty well fooled in this one, and won fair and square.

  • Newbie 304 (Sheepish Mafia) modded by Mgm. Town wins.
  • Role: Sheep - Townie (killed night 2)
  • A very long drawn out game, which I replaced into on page 4. I was reasonable at finding scum, and actually had the last one nailed on the non lylo day 2, but allowed myself to be persuaded otherwise. I was killed night 2 because of that suspicion. In the endgame, the replacement for the scum went inactive, and wasn't replaced. I'm unclear on whether the mod has called this one a draw or a win for us, so I may have to change it to a draw in the near future.

  • Newbie 364 modded by Mr Flay. Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 1)
  • A game in which I was more accurate after being killed than when I was alive. The scum lynch on day 1 left me looking suspicious, and I was suprised to be killed on night 1. The game was somewhat meandering and slow after that, with the cop being lynched on day 2, but the last scum was lynched in the endgame. More a case of being on the winning team than significantly contributing to the win from my point of view.

  • Newbie 530 modded by JDodge. Town wins.
  • Role: Doctor (killed night 1)
  • My first time as a protown powerole in a newbie game. This game used the Pie E7 setup, with the difference than the roleblocker could not kill and roleblock on the same night if on it's own. This setup made life difficult for the scum, but neverthless it was a satisying win, with scum lynched on days 1 and 2. Happy with my contribution.

Mini Normal

  • 100 mph mafia modded by Arafax. Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 2)
  • Ugh a painful game this one. I was attacked most of my time alive by one person for no reason, in the end I gave in to my frustration and took part in his lynch even though I had doubts. I had one scum pegged before being killed off. The scum did well at leading the town around and letting the town argue amongst themselves. The fast day mechanic hurt the town alot but this was well balanced by the fact that there were only 2 scum.

  • Starcraft Mafia modded by Infested Jerk. Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 2)
  • Another game I would rather forget. The setup was heavily against the town. I played ok in not being suspicious and nailing the SK, but other than that, I never particularly had a solid idea of who the mafia were. The mafia took advantage of their oppotunities.

  • 101 mph Mafia modded by Arafax. Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 1)
  • The sequel to 100 MPH Mafia, and it couldn't have been more different. This time the town got all the lucky breaks. Arafax added one extra scum to the setup, but gave the town some strong power. Scum strangely killed me on night 1 instead of the claimed doctor, and this allowed the cop and deputy to claim on day 2 and start confirming people.

  • Mlakerville modded by mlaker. Town wins.
  • Role: Town Priest (killed night 3)
  • It's finally over! We lynched scum 1-2-3-4 without a mislynch. The game ended in some confusion though, with a possible 5th scum (!!) being modkilled.

  • Mini 358 modded by Fortify. Town wins.
  • Role: Doctor (killed night 1)
  • Not the best played game by a town by any means, but we stumbled through it in the end. I didn't play a big part; I was forced to come out on day 1 to counterclaim scum.

  • Doomsville 2 modded by Machiavelian-Mafia. Town wins.
  • Role: Protown copycat (killed day 2 by the day SK).
  • A weird and high powered setup, featuring a day serial killer and a mafia recruiter. My role turned out to be weaker than I'd expected it to be. The town actually didn't play that well, with the daykiller taking out two members of the mafia before being lynched in the endgame.

  • Tapioca Mafia modded by Ectomancer. Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 1)
  • A complicated game, which I replaced into on day 1 and had a long and dense reread. I'm actually fairly happy with my play in this game; I nailed some scum and was dangerous enough to be killed night 1 over claimed poweroles. Several factors contributed to the loss: An unfortunate modding decision on day 1, a terrible vigilante, good play by the last scum and maybe a little complacency by some of the town.

  • Mafia in Vollville modded by vollkan. Town wins.
  • Role: Vigilante (Survived)
  • A replacement gig, and into my first vig role. Biggest blemish for me was killing the town watcher on night 1, but I made up for it by trying to kill the unightkillable Godfather night 2, and claiming and getting him lynched the next day. Very enjoyable and high quality game overall, very happy with it.

  • Saints and Sinners Mafia modded by Rosso Carne. Abandoned.
  • Role: Archangel - Doctor (Survived)
  • A fun open setup game, which was unfortunately abandoned on day 3. Town was in a strong position, partly due to the excessive amount of flavour in the game.

Mini Theme

  • Ben and Jerry's Mafia modded by DrippingGoofball. Scum win.
  • Role: Napolitan Dynamite - Mafia Goon (Survived)
  • An ice cream themed game which contained some unusual roles. Strong power on both sides. I replaced in on day 1, and was happy to be with two awesome scumbuddies;) I looked clean throughout much of the game, though on the last day the flavour/roleclaims forced me into a tight spot. Luckily there was one guy who had a weaker claim than me, and he was lynched for the win. Enjoyed being scum in a group bigger than two for the first time.

  • Old Maid Mafia modded by MrBuddyLee. Town wins.
  • Role: Suicide King of Hearts - Protown Doctor (Survived)
  • Definitely the most complicated game I've ever played in. Probably the longest mini I've ever played in too. Activity was somewhat erratic, and the last scum was actually modkilled for inactivity, though by that point the result was already decided. An interesting setup and an enjoyable experience.

  • The Amazing Race Mafia modded by pablito. Town wins.
  • Role: Fern - Protown Inventor (killed night 3)
  • A nicely constructed and modded game by pablito, featuring a mafia, daykillers, an inventor and more. My role was quirky, with a variety of abilities that I could try, though I didn't know what each did until I used it on someone. A highly frustrating game, in which I was subjected to a one man crusade for the best part of my time alive, which luckily didn't lose us the game. After I was nightkilled, said player made the right choice in the endgame for the town win.

  • Scrubs Mafia (Smalltown 2) modded by Adele. Town wins.
  • Role: John Dorian - Protown Martyr (killed night 1)
  • A short game, where I played very little because I was killed off after 5 pages. I successfully protected a stronger role and took the bullet myself. Much of the game was decided by nightactions.

  • Porly Ritten Flayver Maffier modded by Seol. Town wins.
  • Role: Vanilla Cityie - Townie (Survived)
  • A game with auto two week deadlines and poorly written flavour. The poweroles were all jumbled up (so the player named doc was actually a cop etc.) The scum were pretty much routed in this game, the two goons being lynched on days 1 and 2, with the Godfather being vigged on night 3. A nice, satisfying win.

  • Communique Mafia modded by MeMe. Town wins.
  • Role: Backup Doctor (Survived)
  • An excellent (and very long) game. The main theme was the ability to send secret messages under certain conditions, and the partial no reveal nature of the setup (alignments of dead players were sent by communique to one player each day). Fairly well balanced and well contested, with the town winning in a 3 man endgame. As usual, my nerves were shot to pieces ;)

  • Farscape Mafia modded by Eyceking. Scum win.
  • Role: Grunt - Townie (killed night 3)
  • Oh god. We lynched scum day 1, but that was the end of the good news. We didn't manage to kill another, and some terrible endgame judgement by town lost us the game. Decent setup and modding, but not many happy memories unfortunately.

  • Portal Mafia modded by Glork. Town wins.
  • Role: Weighted Companion Cube - Townie (killed night 1)
  • Game based on a theme I know nothing about. Somewhat town favouring setup, with auto 2 week deadlines to compensate. Scum made a mistake in killing me night 1 instead of the claimed doctor, and in the end just got hosed by an assortment of poweroles.

  • Mormon town 3 modded by Kain. Abandoned.
  • Role: Jew - Mason (Survived)
  • A heavily religious themed game. My first time as a mason, but my partner was killed off on nignht 0. Average scumhunting success for me; hard to say who would have won if the game had continued. The game stagnated on day 2 when the mod simply vanished.

  • Ye Old Porte Towne modded by Vaughn. Abandoned.
  • Role: Pirate - Cult leader (Survived)
  • A pity this game was abandoned, as I was looking forward to playing as cult leader. I had decent success in finding rival scum, as did the town. I think I would have had good chances of winning this one.

  • Julius Caesar Mafia modded by PJ (Replacing PBug). Abandoned
  • Role: Julius Caesar - Serial Killer (killed night 2)
  • A Julius Caesar themed game, with poweroles that had percentage chances of success depending on various factors. My first time as an SK. Unfortunately I had no perks, and despite trying to stay absolutely neutral on everyone's lists of suspicion, I was killed by the mafia on night 2. The game was later abandoned due to player inactivity.

Open Games

  • Pie C9 modded by mith. Scum win.
  • Role: Mafia Roleblocker (Survived)
  • The setup of 3 townies, 1 doc, 1 cop, 1 mafia and 1 mafia roleblocker is interesting and needs to be tried more. In this case the win was fairly easy and the town didn't really get going.

  • Pie C9 2 modded by bird1111. Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (Survived)
  • The second version of the pie c9 setup. Day 1 was long and fairly pointless, with a townie being lynched. Night 1 the doctor stopped a kill on me. On day 2 we squeezed the scum with a well planned massclaim. The scum conceded early when they were in a hopeless situation.

  • Cop C9 modded by Thok (replacing Sarcastro) Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (Endgamed)
  • An open setup of 4 townies, 1 cop, 2 mafia. Terrible play by the cop ended up in us lynching him on day 1, when an overeager townie hammered him without waiting for a claim. Day 2 I was completely clueless about who the scum were, and could even have got quicklynched, though in the end it happened to the overeager townie. Well played by scum.

  • C9 modded by Glork (replacing Max). Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 1)
  • A c9 setup, but without the newbies. Day was really stagnant and we even managed to lynch our doctor. I was glad to be killed on night 1. On day 2 the cop claimed with an innocent result and was believed. The town was able to pick out the 2 scum from the 3 main suspects left and won.

  • Nightless Mafia modded by spectrumvoid. Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (lynched day 6)
  • 8 townies v 4 mafia, no nights. I played poorly, but overall, a strong win for the town, that never looked in much danger of losing after lynching scum days one and two.

  • Vengeful Mafia modded by CrashTextDummie. Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (Survived)
  • A 5 player game. A decent all around win for the town, with no mislynches. Another setup which I enjoy playing in, as you can see by the fact that I signed up for the second one.

  • Vengeful Mafia 2 modded by Romanus. Scum win.
  • Role: Mafia Goon (Survived)
  • The lack of discussion really hurt the town here.

  • Vengeful Mafia 3 modded by spectrumvoid. Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (Endgamed)
  • Same comment as for the last game could apply here. I didn't play too well, nor did the rest of the town.

  • Dethy modded by bird1111. Town wins.
  • Role: Paranoid Cop (Survived)
  • An open setup of 1 mafia, and 4 cops each of different sanity, with a cop head start. The setup favours the town and comes down mainly to brute force calculation. I chose correctly in the endgame and won.

  • Pie C9 3 modded by CrashTextDummie. Scum win.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 2)
  • A terrible day 1 saw us outing our doctor and lynching our cop. The town played hard on day 2 and we lynched one scumbag, but couldn't nail the second one in the endgame. Not one of the most fun games I've played in, due to the very erratic level of activity.

  • Pick your Poison Mafia modded by Thesp (replacing Yellowbounder). Town wins.
  • Role: Townie (Survived)
  • A setup where the scum were able to choose pregame which 2 poweroles the town received out of (cop, doc, roleblocker). Very slow start, with lots of apathy and replacement, but on day 2 we bounced back with a scum lynch, and the other 2 scum were lynched days 3 and 4. Very satisfying game.

  • Basic 12 Player modded by Ether. Scum win.
  • Role: Mafia (Survived)
  • An open setup of 7 townies, 1 doc, 1 cop, 3 mafia, day start. No lynch was disallowed in this game. My first time as scum in a while, and first time up against some good opposition. We won flawlessly on paper, by taking our opportunities, but it could have been very different.

  • Monks and Masons modded by Brizzyboy. Abandoned.
  • Role: Werewolf (Survived)
  • An interesting setup for an open game, with two scumgroups. Unfortunately, player activity was terrible and the game had to be abandoned.

Large Games

  • Lights Out Mafia 2 modded by Rainbow Brite. Scum win.
  • Role: Sarah Constantine - Townie (Endgamed)
  • Damn damn damn. Gutting to vote wrong in the endgame and lose the longest game to date on mafiascum. I didn't play especially badly, but still. Gutting. The setup is fairly unique; 1 week deadlines for lynches, and the town may lynch as many players as it wants during each day. Alignments are only revealed at the end of the day. All credit to the scum, who were the better team at the end of the day.

  • Face to Face Mafia modded by Mr Stoofer. Town wins.
  • Role: Innocent Townsperson (Survived)
  • A 15 player invitational, semi open setup. A long game with a decent all round level of play. I didn't have any great success finding scum, and was convinced I'd be lynched in the endgame by the confirmed innocent, but at the last minute, he revealed that he'd been lying about who he suspected the most, and hammered scum. Joy.

  • Assassins in the Palace modded by Kelly Chen. Town wins.
  • Role: Guard (Assassinated day 6)
  • An unusual game to say the least. A setup with 2 kings, 10 guards and 2 assassins, no nights. The guards knew who the kings were, and the assassins needed to kill both kings (via suicide attacks when an assassin was lynched). The setup caused me to play rather lazily, but the first assassin that got lynched assassinated me thinking I was a king. The second assassin was lynched later and only managed to take out one of the kings, leaving us with a town win.

Games still going

  • Newbie 581 modded by Vel-Rahn Koon.
  • Role: Townie (killed night 1)
  • New F11 setup for newbie games, which has 9 players. Currently day 3.

Modding

  • Open 9 - Basic Twelve Player. Town wins.
  • 23 pages
  • A reasonable win for the town, despite losing their doctor on night 0. The scum were on the back foot for most of the game, after one of them got lynched on day 1.

  • Mini 428 - Sicilian Mafia. Town wins.
  • 35 pages
  • A game that looked like it would be a scum win with mislynches on days 1 and 2, but the town managed to turn it round and steal the win. Some odd choices of nightactions.

  • Open 22 - Roleblocker c9. Scum win.
  • 6 pages
  • An open setup of 4 townies, 1 roleblocker and 2 mafia. Very poor game, wouldn't recommend reading it.

  • Open 21 - Friends and Enemies. Scum win.
  • 39 pages
  • An open setup of 3 mafia, 3 masons and 5 townies. A very strangely played game by some people, with claimed masons on day 1 seeming to be under an extraordinary amount of suspicion. Won on day 5 by a single surviving scum who did well to be recover from a bad start.

  • Mafia 61 - No Theme Mafia. Town wins.
  • 100 pages
  • A large New York game, longest of it's time. Originally I was the backup mod and AndrewS was the mod, but he disappeared, so I took over. The setup favoured the town due to the large number of poweroles, and the town won on day 7 by a process of elimination, and a clearcut plan.

  • Mafia 72 - Peril in Panama. Town wins.
  • 37 pages
  • Another game that I took over modding as backup mod, when the original mod (Aimee) disappeared. The setup gave the town a fairly significant edge, and scum were in trouble early. Whilst it came down to a 3 person endgame, the result wasn't in much doubt.

  • Mini 534 - Vegetable Mafia. Scum win.
  • 33 pages
  • A mini themed game taken over from Aimee, with vegetable flavour. Slightly town friendly setup, but won by a surviving scum in the endgame. 4 of the 5 lynches in this game were self hammers.

  • Mini 535 - Pick your Poison 2. Town wins.
  • 46 pages
  • The first mini theme game which I designed myself. The idea was loosely based on pick your poison mafia. Pregame, the mafia were able to choose 3 town poweroles from an open list, then on day 0, everyone voted for 2 perks to give to the mafia from an open list. The town had a terrible day 1, lynching their cop, but came back fighting after that. Won on day 4 after consecutive scum lynches.

  • Mafia 70 - Traditional Mafia.
  • A 22 player large normal game. Closed setup. Currently day 7.

  • Pick your Poison 3.
  • An 18 player large themed game, following on from PYP2. Currently day 2.

Record so far: 30/41.
