Mini 1359: A Death Already Died (reviewed by Vi, Regfan, and Cogito Ergo Sum)

The game began with a discussion on policy lynches, which quickly devolved into the general mudslinging that usually follows such a discussion. Grimmjow was prodded. More discussion was had. Some of it was good, some of it was bad. Grimmjow was prodded again. Natalie replaced in for InflatablePie, who had to drop out. Then a wagon formed on McStab, and RxK hammered without a claim. VT down. Night one.

Grimmjow was replaced during the night phase for repeatedly flaking out on the game commitment he had made upon joining. He was subsequently blacklisted postgame.

During the night, Nachomamma8, a VT, and crypto, the 2-shot Cop, were killed. LolWagons replaced in as an alt, and almost immediately altslipped, posting on his main account, Slaxx. There was a bit of interesting banter between scumbuddies petapan and Slaxx at the beginning of Day 2, and even their hidden Traitor buddy Gallatin joined in. After a while, FUT replaced in for Katsuki, and the town decided to lynch another of their own. Soon, SGRaaize_ was dangling from a gallows in the city square. Another VT down.

On the second night, the goons killed RxK and the amateur killed Empking. Both flipped VT. No dice for PR fishing nightkills.

Day 3 the game finally got interesting. The day of the replacements: drmyshotgun replaced Slaxx, Om of the Nom replaced drmyshotgun, ChannelDelibird replaced Natalie, and MattP replaced FUT. At this point, seven different player using eight different accounts had occupied those two slots. There was a lot of argument, some of which was crap logic and some of which was good. After a long and protracted battle, the scum finally got what they thought was a mislynch, only for Gallatin to flip Traitor Roleblocker. So not only had they killed one of their own, they had killed their only power role as well. But that night they killed MattP, the Jailkeeper, and things looked slightly better for them. This was also the night that the Serial Killer apparently found religion and never killed anyone again.

The fourth day was a repeat of the third, but with less replacements and less verbosity. A scum lynch ended the day and Om of the Nom was sent packing. This left four players in the game: CF Riot (VT), ChannelDelibird (VT), petapan (mafia goon), and theamatuer (1-shot bulletproof SK). A wrong move could cost anyone the game at this point. By the time Night 4 rolled around, petapan had more or less surmised that theamatuer was probably a serial killer (and even if not, why leave a claimed vig alive?), and so he attempted to kill him, which failed because of theamatuer's bulletproof vest. Inexplicably, theamatuer failed to shoot back... or shoot anyone, for that matter.

The next day, all four of them remained alive. Nothing had changed (or had it?) They decided to no lynch. Night 5 petapan tried the same kill, hoping that the bulletproof vest was of the cheaper, one-shot guarantee variety. Fortunately for him, he was right. And soon, he was the proud owner of the only remaining killing role in the game.

Day 6 was mercifully short. After a short back and forth between all three players, petapan convinced ChannelDelibird to lynch CF Riot instead of him (though CF Riot made excellent arguments in his defense, and it was pretty close in the end). The narrow victory had been achieved by the scum. Congratulations to them, and thanks again to all who played. Thanks also to the game's reviewers, and to the many replacements that helped throughout the game! I am in your debt.
