Newbie 1236: TBM'S TOTALLY LEGITIMATE VAN (modded by TheButtonmen)
This is another game where I was lynched Day 1. Contrary to the last time it happened though, at least my reads were good, and my play was also far from terrible. I was also not a power role this time (whew!). This game was unique in that there were absolutely no scum kills for the entire game. This game happened to have the heavily town-sided Doc + Jailkeeper variant of the 2of4 newbie setup, and scum got absolutely rolled. It would have been even worse if they'd left me alive, as I had the two scum nailed down to a group of three players. Either way the game was all but over from Day 1 onward.
Unfortunately, my "street cred" on Mafiascum was not at that point what it is today, and Tierce was able to get people to lynch me by being all whiny and insistent while simultaneously buddying everyone in the game, including the scum. Luckily, I was able to figure out who the scum were before I died, and was able to give clues to people who cared to look at my posts like the two linked above.
As for the scum team themselves, they did not play too poorly; they just had a metric crapton of bad luck what with both a Doctor and a Jailkeeper being in the game. They never got to kill a single player. By the time the power roles claimed, they were completely done for. This game ended up being a blowout. Not perfect, but then what game is? Good job especially to Gen_Wolf and Cogito Ergo Sum, the power roles in the game, for blocking four straight night kills. That's a fantastic feat. Still, this game wasn't very fun for me, because I don't enjoy sparring with Tierce, especially when she's town, because when she's town she's even more difficult and self-righteous than usual. Ah well, c'est la vie.
