The "shortest day" record is possibly flawed. There are probably a bunch of newbie games with only 2 or 3 posts on the final day due to cop guilty results and townies voting too quickly. I put in the shortest day 1 that I know of as the record for newbie games. Erg0 18:41, 4 October 2007 (MDT)

Longest day by posts

I'm thinking that "Longest Day 1 by posts" can be rolled into this, so long as we specify what Day it was from the game. I expect D1 is usually going to be the longest of any given game, so these are likely to be redundant. -- Mr. Flay 14:52, 24 October 2007 (MDT)

Shortest day by posts

Any problems with excluding 'endgame' days here? I can envision a lot of 3-4 post days where one Townie votes and the scum hammer... -- Mr. Flay 15:43, 18 March 2008 (MDT)

Reorganization

• Reorganized the whole page into the categories Longest, Shortest, Biggest, and Smallest.
• Added the proper sub-categories so that everything alike could easily be found in the same place.
• Also, it's pretty common that the Longest Day is Day 1, so maybe those two areas should be merged.

Absolution

• I've deleted the Longest Day by Posts on Day 1 title, because the Longest Day by Posts area was literally empty except for one game, which was shorter than all the others. So I moved them all together (there's only four games listed, I didn't have to delete anything except the section name) and kept the title Longest Day by Posts because one of the records wasn't set on Day One. Chances are, the Longest Day by Posts area wasn't up to date anyway. If there are other astronomically long days, it'd be nice of you guys to find them. I'd like to fill each of these areas out until there are at least 5 records in them.

Shortest Games

I don't think the current listing of "shortest mini games" should be valid. For one thing, most of those setups are designed with the possibility of ending on Day 1, and thus shouldn't count. Not to mention the fact that one of those games was broken from the start, and one of them wasn't even really a mafia game (UT). -- xRECKONERx

If you want to put together what the record games are, by all means do so. :]
This also goes for xRx's comment above - I agree that broken games break the "shortest" records and it seems unfair to list games that are intentionally made to be short, but what are the shortest games that don't fit those categories? Vi 17:41, 13 July 2011 (EDT)

Longest Game by Posts needs update

There is a new longest game by posts brought up on the forum. InuYasha Mafia, a Large Theme Tn5421 (talk) 16:33, 5 January 2015 (EST)

I'm inexperienced at this.

The recent changes I made (adding camn's revenge and Civilization Mafia) might be sloppy and require some further editing to make them be right, but I'm at least attempting to keep this page up to date and those games did have ridiculously long days, so here they are.
