Talk:Random Questioning Stage

I claim I coined the term RQS in this post: https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?p=1834157#p1834157, although I called it Random Question Stage without the gerund. Verify nobody did it sooner?

Questionable; that was August 28, 2009. On June 13th, 2009 you had MiteyMouse in Newbie 797 suggestion random questions. Tarballs calls it "random questions" here, in July 2009. And back in March 2009 Mini 763 was debating asking questions instead of voting. December 2008 you had Newbie 705 talking about random questions being equally good to random votes. And then there's the 'classic' Newbie 465 where mith and I bypassed RVS entirely, all the way back in September 2007! Plus VRK and Innocent Townie did it in Newbie 345, earlier that year... So as long as you're only talking about the specific 'term' and not the concept, you might have an argument. Otherwise, sorry Charlie. :) -- Mr. Flay 21:39, 21 July 2010 (PDT)
Actually, yeah, I was referring to RQS as the term/acronym itself. I don't think anyone actually called it *specifically* that, although it could be a borderline case since they used 2/3 of what the phrase is nowadays. And of course, I didn't come up with the idea of using random questions, if anything, I hate it and therefore never use it. I sorta regret using/starting the acronym in the first place, I may have inadvertently fed the monster. :\ Yabbaguy 07:53, 22 July 2010 (PDT)
