Survivor: Doctor Who featured the unique time travel mechanic, allowing players to change the result of previous Tribal Councils. Betch (as River Song) defeated fellow finalist DeasVail (as Donna Noble) in a 5-2 jury vote. 

{12} The defining game mechanic of Survivor: Doctor Who is time travel, also known as warping. Players may travel backward in time to any round in the game, but must post in a designated thread in their confessional whenever they wish to do so.
{13} Players must wait (3 x rounds traveled) hours after every warp before warping again. Warping from the past back to the present also falls under this rule.
{14} Players can change their votes from a previous TC by warping back to the round it was on. If a vote being changed causes a different majority to be reached, then whoever now has the majority at that TC is considered as voted out from that TC, while the player who was originally voted out takes that player's place in the game. Any eliminations changed during the course of a challenge are announced with the results of that challenge, while any eliminations changed during the course of a Tribal Council are announced with the results of that Tribal Council.
{15} When a player is not in the present, he or she is only allowed to PM the player that was eliminated from the game during that round. So that the player eliminated that round knows who they are allowed to talk to, all eliminated players will be notified via PM and via a message on mafiascum when anyone enters or leaves their round.
{16} Once the Final Three is decided, all remaining players are immediately transported to the present, and no further time travelling or alteration of votes may occur. The players from 3rd to 9th place are all now the jury.

Round 4: Tribe swap!

  • Gallifrey: Adam/Amy/Clara/Dorium/Editor/Mel/Rassilon/River/Rory
  • Earth: Adipose/Beast/Brigadier/Donna/Empress/Nefertiti/Sarah/Storm/Weeping
    • Everyone on Earth votes out Nefertiti, who self-votes.

Round 5:

  • Nefertiti changes her Round 2 vote to Clara. Clara/Amy/Dorium change their Round 2 votes to Nefertiti, making the vote 3-2-1-1 and Nefertiti the Round 2 boot.
  • Jack is now the Round 4 boot. The Round 4 votes for Nefertiti retroactively become Jack votes. After the switch takes place, Clara/Dorium/Storm/Nefertiti change their Round 2 votes to Weeping Angel who changes her Round 2 vote to Nefertiti, making the vote 5-2.
  • Weeping Angel is now the Round 2 boot, and Nefertiti is brought back into the game as a member of the Earth tribe in Weeping Angel's place.
  • Adam is unanimously voted out of Gallifrey. Adam votes for Amy.

Round 6: Adipose/Brigadier/Donna/Empress/Jack/Storm switch their Round 4 votes from Jack to Nefertiti, making Nefertiti that Round 4 boot again and bringing Jack back into the game on the Earth tribe in Nefertiti's place. Amy is unanimously voted out of Gallifrey. Amy votes for Rory.

Round 7: Fake merge! Clara quits the game. Rassilon/Rory/River switch their Round 5 votes to Clara, but don't get enough votes to bring Adam back into the game.

Round 8:

  • Jesters: Donna/Editor/Empress/Jack/Rassilon
  • Squires: Adipose/Dorium/Mel/River
  • Knights: Brigadier/Rory/Sarah/Storm/Beast
  • Editor is unanimously voted out of the Jesters tribe. Editor votes for Empress.

Round 9:

  • Donna/Editor/Empress change their Round 8 votes to Jack, making Jack the Round 8 boot and bringing Editor back into the game.
  • Donna and Empress are absorbed into the Squires tribe, while Editor and Rassilon are absorbed into the Knights tribe.
  • Adipose is unanimously voted out of the Squires tribe. Adipose votes for Mel.

Round 10: Real merge! Beast votes for Editor, while everyone else votes for Rory, who self-votes.

Round 11: Brigadier/Donna/Rassilon/River/Sarah/Storm vote out Mel. Beast/Dorium/Editor/Empress/Mel vote for Sarah.

Round 12: Rassilon changes his Round 8 vote to Empress. Jack changes his to Donna. Beast is unanimously voted out; Beast and Dorium both self-vote.

Round 13:

  • Brigadier/Donna/Rassilon/River/Sarah/Storm vote out Empress. Dorium/Editor/Empress vote for Brigadier.
  • Donna/Rassilon/Jack change their Round 8 votes to Editor, making Editor the Round 8 boot and bringing Jack back into the game.

Round 14: Empress changes all of her votes at past TCs to Jack. Sarah is unanimously voted out of the game. Sarah votes for Dorium.

Round 15: Sarah changes most of her votes at past TCs to Jack. Brigadier/Donna/Jack/Rassilon/River vote out Storm. Storm and Dorium vote for Brigadier.

Round 16: Brigadier/Donna/Rassilon/River vote out Dorium. Dorium and Jack vote for Donna. Brigadier/Rassilon/River change their Round 12 votes to Jack, making him the Round 12 boot and bringing Beast back into the game.

Round 17: Empress changes her Round 12 vote back to Beast, making Beast the Round 12 boot again and reviving Jack from the dead for the fourth time. Jack is voted out unanimously for the fifth and final time.

Round 18:

  • Jack changes most of his past votes to Rassilon. Brigadier/Donna vote for Rassilon, while Rassilon/River vote for Donna, prompting a tiebreaker challenge.
  • Meanwhile, Rassilon/River change their Round 15 votes to Brigadier, making Brigadier the Round 15 boot and bringing Storm back into the game.
  • Meanwhile, Brigadier/Donna change their Round 16 votes to Rassilon, making Rassilon the Round 16 boot and bringing Dorium back into the game. Unfortunately, Rassilon lost the tiebreaker challenge so Dorium becomes the Round 18 boot.
  • The final three is now River, Donna, and Storm, and time travel ceases.

Round 19: Donna wins final immunity and votes out Storm. River wins the jury vote against Donna 5-2.
