Site Chat is an embedded chat application that was launched and announced on April 28th 2013. The application allows users to send messages directly to one another or join channels where group conversations can be held. Site Chat is firmly integrated with the forum, allowing profile settings such as avatars to carry over automatically. Features include resizable windows, user ignoring, customized timestamps, compact/expanded message view, password-protected channels, bbcodes, smilies, & the ability for users to appear offline.
As of March 1st, 2017, over 3.2 million messages have been sent through Site Chat across 1,071 accounts.
