Open 177 (Monks and Masons): Town loss, Mafia's win: Vanilla townie died in night 2. Setup: 1 Mafia Monk, 1 Mafia, 2 Wolves, 1 Town Monk, 2 Town Mason, 4 Town.

  • This game was slow at times too, but the real highlight of this one was the immediate attention from Farside22 in day one. This resulted in two days of near constant bickering on both our parts and many walls. Also to note is the RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME flavor. Town was a bit confused about possible setup (it was randomly possible for mafia/wolves to get into one of the m/m groups, but only one of them could do so) But for the most part our big hurt was that Town was hit a lot harder by night actions and lynches. The first scum death was in night 2, leaving tons of anti-town people alive in the last day and a bunch of... well... mind games about who was targeting who, and what would be the motive from either town, wolf, or mafia. But I wasn't present for that day, so I have no idea how frustrating or hard the mind games really became. I did do a good job of pissing Farside off though unfortunately. She is probably still pretty negative of me and my play. But then again she self-hammered as townie, so I guess we both have stuff to learn.

Mini 880 - Mini Quick and Dirty: Town loss: Vanilla townie with bullet proof vest dead in endgame. Setup: 2 Scum goons, 1 Scum role-blocker, 1 1-shot vig, 1 bullet proof vest, 7 townies.

  • This game was slow, no one was really interested. People participated, but barely. It was an invitational too, with strong newbie players from the past year as the invites. Not a lot to say about this game. It was limited reveal so we never knew if we killed power roles. I didn't realize I had the vest until day 2 after a mass claim, due to my own stupidity. The role PM was set up so it said Vanilla townie first, then went on later to say I got a vest. My brain turned off after I read vanilla townie. This vest was powerful. It protected from lynching and nks, it could be passed around. I was afraid that if I passed it to scum it would be game over, although it was not clear if would have been 'used up' if someone hit the user. Basically the town kind of lurched through the game. I don't think anyone was happy with their performance. Especially since they got an ego boost from the invite.

Open 176 - Night Watch: Scum win: Mafia Goon lynched day 2. Setup: 3 Mafia goons, 1 Town Role-cop, 2 Town Watchers, 1 Town Hider, 5 Townies.

  • This game was a bit on the weird side. As you can see the power on the town should have given them the advantage. On night zero we got lucky and I killed the town cop and no watchers saw it, so that helped a bit. Town decided to go with something weird on day one called hypnohider. Everyone pretends to be a hider, and tells everyone who they hid behind in night 0 and who they would hide behind night 1. The hypnohider resulted in 3 people targeting one of my teamates Kublai Khan. This scared us enough to switch him to send in the night kill that night. Day one we lynched a townie, but IIRC I think a watcher outed themselves, so that was the night kill. Day 2 was bad sauce. The hider thing worked out for the town, and the hider targeted me, outting me. Simultaneously, since we had KK send in the kill this time, they outted him. I was the lynch in day 2, and at night they killed the remaining hider, confirming them, and then KK bit it the next day. With all power roles gone, Dramonic was somehow able to survive the couple of days necessary for the win. We beat the odds apparently heh.

Mini 855: Colorless Rainbow Town: Game Error everyone but a person modkilled won: Vanilla townie lynched day 1. Setup: 2 Mafia Scum, 1 Serial Killer, 1 Town Cop, 1 Town Doc, 7 Vanilla Townies

  • For some reason I just could not defend myself in day 1. I tried my best and honestly don't think I did poorly, but it wasn't enough. However, I did participate in a wagon (pretty vocally if I remember) that caused one scum to get themselves modkilled for stating they were not having fun. That lead people to think that I was bussing. In end of day, there was a wagon on both me and the remaining scum MonkeyMan576. But due to running out of time, and not seeing a push to make MM the lynch over me, I self lynched in order to prevent a no lynch scenario. In day 2, there was a mod mistake in the queue that reported the wrong scum as the mod kill effectively outing him (he was investigated by the cop too). This lead to an early game stoppage and a win to everyone but the modkilled.

Open 173: Pie E7: Town loss: Vanilla townie lynched day 2. Setup: 1 Mafia Scum, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Cop, 1 Doc, 3 Townies.

  • This game was strange. I caught what I thought was a lie from someone who ended up scum, but I had a hard time pushing the case. In the end we moved to a new target, which ended up being the doc. That night our cop, Hohum, was roleblocked. Day 2 started with a gamble claimed result anyway, Hohum claimed he had a guilty on me and voted. I immediately though he was scum for this, but urged the town to look around to find the other cop or consider if we wanted the claim today. It didn't matter however, because during the polling, the two scum voted me and won the game.

/in-vitational Game 2: Town win: Vanilla townie survivor. Setup: 2 Mafia Scum, 2 Townie Chosen, 5 Vanilla townies.

  • Another rougher game for me, this time I didn't cause too much damage though. This was an interesting game type. Chosen setup type involved having two townies that were 'chosen' and none of the town knew who they were. The scum did however, and could not officially win until at least one was lynched. They were not allowed to night kill a chosen, so had to attempt to get them lynched during the day if they wanted to win. Town got pretty lucky and hit a scum early day one. MiteyMouse pretty much coasted through till end game as the remaining scum. I caught a bit of flack in day 2 and day 3 as the possible remaining scum, but managed to avoid my lynch (good thing too, apparently I was chosen). Also lucky for the town we never hit the other chosen, Papa Zito. In endgame we caught whiff of the roles through a last minute mistake, and were able to win through the chosen mechanic instead of lynching the scum. Lynching the scum would have been a bit difficult at that point I think, and we would have possibly had my death at that time. All in all it was fun, although I felt I wasn't totally there during parts, and I think I need to change my play style a bit.

Newbie 789: Scum Loss: Vanilla Scum dead in day 3. Setup: 1 Mafia Scum, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 7 Vanilla townies.

  • This game was rough, I agreed to replace in while still in 791, just to see if I could pull off two simultaneous games. I had issues catching up, and staying caught up. This eventually lead to my day two and three self-destruct in order to get my partner to LyLo. Unfortunately for the scum team, my partner went AWOL at this point, and the town lynched him in his silence. Things might have turned out differently if that position had someone piloting it, or the auto NK hit someone else, and he came back in time to finish the day with a scum win. The world will never know.

Newbie 791: Scum Win : Vanilla Scum survivor. Setup: 2 Mafia Scum, 1 Doc, 6 Townies.

  • This was my first game as scum. I ended up paired with MiteyMouse. We ended the game with a cop claim, that I am fairly certain would have worked much better if Zorblag hadn't have just replaced in the previous night. He made the claim difficult and was fairly certain he had me down as scum, however he temporarily voted a townie, which ended up being a game saver for me and MiteyMouse.

Newbie 762: Town Loss: Vanilla townie dead in endgame. Setup: 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Mafia Scum, 1 Cop, 1 Doc, 5 Townies.

  • This was a disaster lead by me. I pushed every lynch of a townie, completely bought into a buddy attempt by Papa Zito, and just all around noobed it up. End game consisted of a bad assumption on my part based on his plays and resulted in our loss.

Newbie 735: Town Win : Vanilla townie survivor. Setup: 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Mafia Scum, 1 Cop, 1 Doc, 5 Townies.

  • This was my first game of mafia. Things were going poorly for the town. There was play style issues that ended up dropping us in Lylo in day 3. Mastin by this time replaced into a cop position, and pretty much wreaked the scum position for a win. Funny note, the mod of this game actually allowed the scum a chance to concede the game.
