Roaming is a role modifier that prevents a power role from ever targeting the same player twice. Even if the ability is blocked or otherwise prevented, you may not target that player ever again. Likewise, if the ability is redirected or deflected, you may not attempt to target your original target again but you may target the player you were redirected to on another Night.

Normal version

This modifier is allowed in Complex Normal games.

This role modifier is considered Normal on mafiascum.net.

  • As a modifier on a single ability: You may not target the same player twice with this action. (edit)
  • As a modifier that affects all abilities: You may not target the same player twice. (edit)

Example (modifying a single ability)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Roaming Jailkeeper.

You have the following active ability:

  • Each Night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, that player will be protected from kills that night, but all their actions will be blocked that night. You may not target the same player twice with this action.

You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.

Example (affecting all abilities)

Welcome to game! You are a Town Roaming Jack of All Trades Tracker Doctor.

You may not target the same player twice.

You have the following active abilities, but may use only one per Night:

  • Once in the game at night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, you will learn who that player targeted that night. (You will get "no result" if this action is blocked.)
  • Once in the game at night, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, that player will be protected from one kill that night.
