==Games played, with thoughts==
For anyone who loves to hear me talk about how amazing i am of course and watch as i gush about every good thing i did in games that i objectively probably played poorly and downplay all of the bad things that i did in games that i objectively played even worse

| colspan="7" | I had the setup figured out and a single lockscum read based off of that before I could replace in, but when I replaced in my lockscum read had "escaped" (it was a game mechanic), which I was pretty mad about, because the game would have ended on just a single scum lynch (again, game mechanic).

Failing that, I baited for a vig claim which I knew would be a scumclaim, and it worked out flawlessly. I laid out the truth of the setup and how it directly implicated the fake vig claim as scum, and that lead to the last scum instantly conceding.

I got pretty lucky here with the last scum going for the fakeclaim as I would've been entirely lost without it, but I still feel good about winning a game near-immediately after entering it after an entire game of everyone else being in the dark about the truth of the setup.

| colspan="7" | i replaced in somewhat motivated to sort everyone and have Good Reads™ before remembering that i'm not actually a fan of large theme games and they're really hard to read. lost motivation pretty quickly after that. my reads weren't that good at first anyways because i made a pretty bad assumption in assuming someone was town and sheeping a few of her townreads.

thankfully, after that person died and flipped scum my reads actually became pretty on point and while i never was very vocal in pushing them, i pretty consistently voted only scum for the rest of the game while hard defending a townread. town went on to win it.

| colspan="7" | i finally got to play in the setup that i had run myself twice before. it was a pretty good playerlist, and i enjoyed the game thoroughly. i was pretty accurate when it came to scum all the way from the start, as well. we managed to win it day 1 (if you don't get how, check the mechanics!)

if you're a fan of reading old games or especially reading old NSG games (i know there's at least one person out there who is), i'd say this is a really good one a better read perhaps than any summary of it i could give.

as it turns out, scum weren't initially planning to kill me, but changed it at the last minute. if they had gone with their original plan, their kill would've been stopped by a protective and i would've guiltied one of them.

through some unfortunate events town ended up losing it. it happens. on a personal level i would say that i'm happy with my reads in this game but disappointed with how little i did to push those reads

well, i won't say it was because of my exceptional scumplay or anything (although i do think i played moderately well at the points when i needed to). town was just in general scummy and weird enough for them to be mislynchable until endgame. although, it does go to show that anyone who thinks that i just replace out of all of my scumgames is wrong.

| colspan="7" | One of my first games in a while after having been gone for a bit. day 1 i voted town for meta differences that didn't end up being game related, but town lynched scum without me. day 2 i "woke up" so to speak and realized that someone (who was scum) was definitely scum, so started pushing for his lynch. a counterwagon started getting pushed to my push and while i thought that that person also had a decent chance of being scum, when the person i was pushing flipped scum i started mostly ignoring the counterwagon. well, it turned out that he was ''also'' scum, and i had largely ignored him up until my death.

it's annoying too, because i had scumread the person that he replaced but never went anywhere with that read. anyways, town managed to win it in the end anyways. i will say that it was a pretty good playerlist to play with!

| colspan="7" | Essentially a re-run of a setup that me and Mathdino ran, this was sort of a team mafia-lite where there were just teams of two people and there were two micro games. I was originally going to play ''with'' Mathdino, but unfortunately he couldn't make it.

Either way, in the game itself i was dead-set on scum for two whole days (this person being my sole vote for those two days) although i didn't do much to push my read. We ended up lynching that person's scumbuddy first, and the day after i reconsidered my read on the scum i was tunnelling before. i came up with a strategy for using the jailkeeper that didn't rely on me being right on anything, which i felt like was the best course of action. town managed to win it.

oh, and day one i didn't jail anybody but scum no-killed to try to frame somebody, which is a pretty hilarious sequence of events that actually lead to me correctly townreading someone who everyone else was absolutely convinced was scum. although, it would've been worse for scum if i had actually jailed someone, as i would've just jailed my top scumread anyways and then that would've essentially been a guilty on scum.

edit: i was looking back through the micro games forum and noticed that this game actually (as of december 2018) holds the record for the longest micro game ever run by postcount. how about that?

| colspan="7" | Wow, just my luck that after perhaps the best game I've ever played in I would have (quote from me in the dead thread) "among the least enjoyable towngames i have ever played"

i got roleblocked on the same night that there ended up being no kill, and despite ''multiple'' other explanations to the contrary, much of the town took it that this was somehow a guilty against my slot and that i "had" to die. what that lead to was me screaming at people for three day phases and getting perhaps the angriest i've ever been in a mafia game, all the while while i was supposed to be on vacation. i didn't end up getting lynched, but in the meantime town decided to lynch one of my stronger townreads.

the day after my strong townread getting lynched i correctly called out scum lurking who ended up getting lynched, and the day after that i voted and tried to push the scum who would go on to endgame everyone else. too bad i got delayed vigged in an act of incredibly questionable decision-making skills.

i don't deserve to have this game marked down as a loss. but, i suppose there are town games that i don't deserve to have won. this game always reminds me why i dislike large theme games.

| colspan="7" | One of my games that I'm the most proud of. Caught one scum in the first few pages based solely off of his play and held onto that read for a while. Spent some time misreading another player as scum but came to my senses eventually and realized that the first scum that I caught should definitely be the day one lynch, especially after looking at his meta. He did end up getting lynched, but not before I also correctly called out scum theater between him and one of his buddies. I wasn't all that on track to the third scum, but the rest of the town cleaned it up for a win, lynching scum three days in a row. I take it to my credit that I was killed night one over a claimed jailkeeper.

As another note, this game had no replacements and I don't even think had any prods. I consider this one of the best, if not the best game that I have ever played in: in terms of the playerlist, my play, the setup, and personal enjoyment.

| colspan="7" | Now ''this'' would be a game to be proud about. Replace in day one, instantly voted scum based on his play and then had another scum totally pegged based on her meta. My readslist had two scum as the sole members of the bottom tier, and while town was scrambling to find a lynch near the end of day one i suggested a lynch on the third scum. There was definitely still a lot of room for improvement – i really didn't push my reads as much as i should have (despite my efforts to case), and somehow(???) i ended up getting cop checked despite being obviously town.

I'm not sure if it was a function of the playstyle or just the game itself, but my reads were more on-point than they've ever been, at least in recent memory. I identified and tunneled one scum from page two all the way to the end of day one and had half of the game confidently identified as town. Of course, as would happen when i'm having a game this good, town also seemed to ignore me because of my alternative playstyle and ended up lynching town day one – thankfully, my "mason buddy" came through with a vig shot on the scum that i was tunneling, and then another scum got tracker guiltied and we lynched the third scum the day after.

The setup was arguably really townsided but none of my reads had anything to do with the setup. Another game to be really proud of.

My top scumread was on scum and i correctly knew when she was fakeclaiming, but i never did much to push any of my reads. In fact, i didn't cast a vote the entire game. Not that it would have mattered, given there were theme mechanics that messed with the voting that caused town to lose kind of randomly and quite suddenly anyways come endgame, but still.

A large amount of my ISO early in this game is questioning scum – i was on one scum right from the start and didn't really let up there, and i was closely watching another. Well, that first scum ended up basically scumclaiming a bit into day one, but the second scum replaced out and was replaced by eddie cane, who played a pretty crazy game and basically pocketed the entire playerlist. The first scum ended up getting lynched and going into day two some pretty enlightening night results came out – the townies at the bottom of my readslist cleared each other and someone claimed a tracker guilty on eddie. From there the last scum was up next on my list – that is, if i didn't get vigged for some reason during the night. I take it to my credit that until the game was over everyone assumed that i was the scum nightkill and the actual scum nightkill was the vig shot.

I feel like this was among my best performances i've ever had, despite a few minor hiccups. I think my reads were pretty good at the start of the game, and despite some lurking, lack of motivation and my getting it backwards on Marquis, my plan would've won town the game guaranteed after the Cogito Ergo Sum lynch went through. I'd have to thank my teammates for the support in keeping me motivated when i didn't really want to check the thread, because without them even if my reads were perfect i don't think i could have had the motivation to push them. On a similar note, Mathdino's help with writing cases to take the reads we discussed and put them into words that could sway opinion was almost certainly a deciding factor in the outcome.

For team mafia in general, i feel alright about how Serious Business did, as well as how i contributed to my teammates' games. I had sheepsaysmeep pegged as scum from Day 1 in Magical Stories, and LLD was a strong scumread in Random GIFs (though i didn't do a good job of communicating this). Overall our team was hurt by unfortunate circumstances in GuiltyLion's game and an unfortunate modkill in Mathdino's.

| colspan="7" | I had read through all of the old assassin in the palace games on mafiascum, so i was pretty excited to play this game and even more excited when people actually went along with the optimal strategy. This wasn't exactly like AITP, though – there were nightkills and we were all bodyguards. I was deliberately choosing not to protect because i felt like i was a definite false candidate for being the "king", but this strategy backfired when the king was shot rather unceremoniously and anticlimactically night two. Oops. The bystander effect in action, i suppose – none of us had actually protected the king. My reads were really off, but i can't help but wonder if this game could've been won if the king was just protected, although i guess that's partly on me. The killer said that his endgame shot was going on me, so my strategy was at least working.
| colspan="7" | I had read through all of the old assassin in the palace games on mafiascum, so i was pretty excited to play this game and even more excited when people actually went along with the optimal strategy.

I count this game as a town loss, although i guess i don't have to – it's not really "mafia" per se.

Probably the best i can say i've ever played scum. I feel like i had a really believable case as to why the doctor (who was still alive in lylo) was definitely scum, and the people who knew my meta the most told me after this game that they were surprised that i was scum. I guess i didn't actually do much before the game ended, but i'm still proud of what i ''did'' do.

The setup that ended up getting chosen was me as a default Werewolf, a lyncher whose target got lolhammered day one, and everyone else was town with some kind of power. There wasn't really a chance i was winning it from the start, but i still think i went the distance at least. I might've gone further, but i got gladiated day three and was too busy to show up before i got lynched.

Day two opened up with no kill and someone claiming a jailkeep on someone else (and then replacing out). This conversation (from memory, at least) was the majority of what day two was about, and i was beginning to drop lower on people's readslists as i kind of avoided the thread because i didn't have much to add. There was tons of confusion over roles and their effect on the no-kills (which happened again come night two), and i couldn't think of much to say when it seemed that people were mechanically guilty.

There were two wagons, one on a new player who talked and went about things in an incredibly mechanical way and the other on a townie with another strange playstyle. I didn't really like either of these options, so i started to reconsider my read on the person who claimed the jail in the first place. His response solidified my scumread there and his lynch ended the game in a town victory. Hooray!

The scumteam had pretty good organizing on our strategy for the draft order, but it didn't end up giving us much except a 1-shot vig and information as to who the cop was. I had a pretty good start in terms of dayplay but a combination of real-life factors and finding out that being scum isn't all that interesting led to my inactivity for a lot of day two. Despite that, I still feel like I played pretty well – I helped the scumteam manage to peg who the doctor was, figure out who the cop investigated day one, and pocket a loud town voice on day two.

Coming into day three, I ''knew'' that I had been guiltied by the cop, but I still wanted to try for a perfect mafia win, so rather than guiltying the cop first or anything like that which would just end up with my lynch the next day, I tried to get a lynch through elsewhere so that the next day i could counterclaim in lylo for the win right there. Didn't end up working out and i got lynched, but my partners managed to pull through thanks to a combination of questionable lylo play and paranoia from town.

The scumteam faced a lot of interesting scenarios this game. If you're the type inclined to read through old games, I'd encourage you to check out this game's scum private thread and maybe read through the game – it's an interesting one.

Just kidding. I replaced in and then lurked the start of mylo out – two townies crossvoted and my scumbuddy quickhammered. I don't think i actually posted once before the game was over. Still counts as a scum win, i guess? It's really more of a scum "just showing up", but they don't have a column for that in the win/loss table thing. There was some frustration postgame for the mod's decision to make lynches 50% instead of greater than 50%, but for the last day it wouldn't have mattered.

Still counts as a scum win, i guess? It's really more of a scum "just showing up", but they don't have a column for that in the win/loss table thing. There was some frustration postgame for the mod's decision to make lynches 50% instead of greater than 50%, but for the last day it wouldn't have mattered.

| colspan="7" | I think i could've had an exceptional performance here if only i wasn't so lazy and maybe thought things through a bit more. I replaced in very early (basically the start of the game) and in my very first post i talk about how my two scumleans are the people who ended up being the scumteam. I didn't stick with my reads, however, and ended up voting the IC after a scum replace-in made a case on her. That very same scum ended up claiming a tracker guilty on someone who had siteflaked and, without thinking, i voted there without waiting for a replacement, allowing scum to quickhammer.

From there, however, the path was simple. We had one confirmed scum, and after that lynch, the nightkill and a bulletproof claim, the last scum was mechanically confirmed to me – all i had to do was look town enough and convince the bulletproof that the other guy was scum, and sure enough town managed to pull through.

Perhaps not my best town performance, but i think i was a major part of the town win.

Well, let's just say that a perfect combination of weak town power roles and people ''using'' those roles questionably combined to get me lynched day two. I was only on track with one of my scumreads. Outside of my lynch, though, i had fun.

...well, the strategy would've been genius, if any of the things i were basing it on were true. I got fooled so much by one of the scum that I was still townreading her after her (flipless) death, and a lot of errant conclusions came from that. Town ended up winning anyways, but i'm not sure how much credit I can take for that. Town might have won in spite of me, really.

Weird.

I wasn't that on-track in terms of my reads anyways, but the game pretty much went on without me having had any huge effect. I was annoyed to get shot so early – I liked the game, the playerlist, and I wanted to be a mason.

Games played, with thoughts

For anyone who loves to hear me talk about how amazing i am of course and watch as i gush about every good thing i did in games that i objectively probably played poorly and downplay all of the bad things that i did in games that i objectively played even worse

Up to date as of January 2019

Mini 2049: Innocent Evil People

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Mini Theme Jingle Town Vanilla Townie Replaced in Day 5 Survived Town win
I had the setup figured out and a single lockscum read based off of that before I could replace in, but when I replaced in my lockscum read had "escaped" (it was a game mechanic), which I was pretty mad about, because the game would have ended on just a single scum lynch (again, game mechanic).

Failing that, I baited for a vig claim which I knew would be a scumclaim, and it worked out flawlessly. I laid out the truth of the setup and how it directly implicated the fake vig claim as scum, and that lead to the last scum instantly conceding.

I got pretty lucky here with the last scum going for the fakeclaim as I would've been entirely lost without it, but I still feel good about winning a game near-immediately after entering it after an entire game of everyone else being in the dark about the truth of the setup.

mini 2051: tree's dump blitz

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Mini Theme schadd_ Mafia Mafia Goon Started Lynched (Day 2) Mafia win
i played pretty poorly and got lynched day 2. my scumbuddy was about to get lynched the day after but due to the mechanics of the game we ended up winning it, weirdly. i don't count this game – i don't consider it a "real" scum win per se, although that being said i've counted other scum wins that i probably don't deserve, so *shrug*.

Micro 834: Vanilla 8-ball

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Micro the worst Town Vanilla Town Started Survived (Day 4) Town win
my reads were pretty off at first and it took a mislynch that i pushed and a mislynch on one of my strong townreads while i was away before i finally corrected course and got the scumteam solved day 3. it was definitely with some help from the other players in the game towning it up and making me realize that my townreads on scum were outdated / for poor reasons, so definite thanks to everyone else on that.

A Story Revisited: Anything uPick

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Large Theme RadiantCowbells Town Bomb Replaced in Day ? Survived (Day 6) Town win
i replaced in somewhat motivated to sort everyone and have Good Reads™ before remembering that i'm not actually a fan of large theme games and they're really hard to read. lost motivation pretty quickly after that. my reads weren't that good at first anyways because i made a pretty bad assumption in assuming someone was town and sheeping a few of her townreads.

thankfully, after that person died and flipped scum my reads actually became pretty on point and while i never was very vocal in pushing them, i pretty consistently voted only scum for the rest of the game while hard defending a townread. town went on to win it.

micro 833: a coalition

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Micro schadd_ Town Vanilla Town Started Survived (Day 1) Town win
i finally got to play in the setup that i had run myself twice before. it was a pretty good playerlist, and i enjoyed the game thoroughly. i was pretty accurate when it came to scum all the way from the start, as well. we managed to win it day 1 (if you don't get how, check the mechanics!)

if you're a fan of reading old games or especially reading old NSG games (i know there's at least one person out there who is), i'd say this is a really good one – a better read perhaps than any summary of it i could give.

Mini 2036: Charging Up

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Mini Theme BulletNLynchproof Town Follower Started Killed (Night 1) Mafia win
i did basically nothing day one and got killed night one while tracking scum to my own kill. welp! town lost and i had essentially no part in shaping how the game turned out.

as it turns out, scum weren't initially planning to kill me, but changed it at the last minute. if they had gone with their original plan, their kill would've been stopped by a protective and i would've guiltied one of them.

life is simply unfair, don't you think?

Micro 827: The Team Odds

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Micro BulletNLynchproof Town Vanilla Town Started Killed (Night 1) Mafia win
i had pretty good reads if i might say so myself, but didn't do as much as i would've liked to push them or put them out there (i actually had the scumteam as the bottom of my readslist, but only in my personal notes and not actually posted in thread)

through some unfortunate events town ended up losing it. it happens. on a personal level i would say that i'm happy with my reads in this game but disappointed with how little i did to push those reads

Mini 2032: TAZ Mafia

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Mini Theme xyzzy Mafia Mafia Informed Started Survived (Day 6) Mafia win
northsidegal endgames as scum. whaaat?? in a non-newbie game? in a game with people who vaguely know her meta?

well, i won't say it was because of my exceptional scumplay or anything (although i do think i played moderately well at the points when i needed to). town was just in general scummy and weird enough for them to be mislynchable until endgame. although, it does go to show that anyone who thinks that i just replace out of all of my scumgames is wrong.

Open 735: Watchmen Wanted

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Open HeWhoSwims Town Town Backup Started Killed (Night 3) Town win
One of my first games in a while after having been gone for a bit. day 1 i voted town for meta differences that didn't end up being game related, but town lynched scum without me. day 2 i "woke up" so to speak and realized that someone (who was scum) was definitely scum, so started pushing for his lynch. a counterwagon started getting pushed to my push and while i thought that that person also had a decent chance of being scum, when the person i was pushing flipped scum i started mostly ignoring the counterwagon. well, it turned out that he was also scum, and i had largely ignored him up until my death.

it's annoying too, because i had scumread the person that he replaced but never went anywhere with that read. anyways, town managed to win it in the end anyways. i will say that it was a pretty good playerlist to play with!

Micro 816-II: Pokemon Go

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Micro schadd_ Town Town Jailkeeper Started Killed (Night 6) Town win
Essentially a re-run of a setup that me and Mathdino ran, this was sort of a team mafia-lite where there were just teams of two people and there were two micro games. I was originally going to play with Mathdino, but unfortunately he couldn't make it.

Open 729: Cul de Sac

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Open HeWhoSwims Town Vanilla Town Started Killed (Night 1) Town win
i poorly tunnelled someone who i thought i could read and died overlooking the silently scummy mafia. can't say i played well but apparently i was towny / dangerous enough to kill night one. town managed to win it without me anyways, so well done.

Micro 807: Lynchpin 8p

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Micro callforjudgement Mafia Mafia Goon Started Survived (Day 2) Mafia win
I rolled scum with another player who also has a pretty night and day difference between his town and scum meta. We were set up for failure, but luckily most of the rest of the playerlist were newbies who didn't really know about either of our meta, so we managed to somehow win it just by lurking and not really through much effort of our own.

Newbie 1867

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Newbie Huntress Mafia Mafia Goon Replaced in Day 1 Lynched (Day 3) Town win
I replaced in to play a game with a player whom I respect a lot but hadn't had a chance to play with yet... only to roll scum. welp! wasn't really prepared to replace into a scumslot.

it was actually a very nice playerlist that i would have loved to play with, if i were town. at least i got to see that same player i respect build a pretty devastating case for me being scum and for my own lynch.

Product Placement Mafia

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Large Theme Untrod Tripod Town Vanilla Town Started Killed (Night 4) Mafia win
Wow, just my luck that after perhaps the best game I've ever played in I would have (quote from me in the dead thread) "among the least enjoyable towngames i have ever played"

i got roleblocked on the same night that there ended up being no kill, and despite multiple other explanations to the contrary, much of the town took it that this was somehow a guilty against my slot and that i "had" to die. what that lead to was me screaming at people for three day phases and getting perhaps the angriest i've ever been in a mafia game, all the while while i was supposed to be on vacation. i didn't end up getting lynched, but in the meantime town decided to lynch one of my stronger townreads.

the day after my strong townread getting lynched i correctly called out scum lurking who ended up getting lynched, and the day after that i voted and tried to push the scum who would go on to endgame everyone else. too bad i got delayed vigged in an act of incredibly questionable decision-making skills.

i don't deserve to have this game marked down as a loss. but, i suppose there are town games that i don't deserve to have won. this game always reminds me why i dislike large theme games.

Open 728: Sharing is Caring

Game Type Modded by Faction Role Entry Status Outcome
Open Almost50 Town Vanilla Town Started Killed (Night 1) Town win
One of my games that I'm the most proud of.

It kills me having to mark this down as a loss. It really does. After a day one that I wasn't really present much for, going into day 2 I started getting deathtunnelled by my stongest townread, and due to the nature of the setup all it took was another one vote on me from a townie to let scum quickhammer and win. I tried so hard to convince people to lynch the group that ended up containing two scum.

Sigh.

It hurts so much calling this a loss.

I don't feel like i lost this game.

I guess that's just the nature of town games.

Now this would be a game to be proud about. Replace in day one, instantly voted scum based on his play and then had another scum totally pegged based on her meta. My readslist had two scum as the sole members of the bottom tier, and while town was scrambling to find a lynch near the end of day one i suggested a lynch on the third scumvan. There was definitely still a lot of room for improvement – i really didn't push my reads as much as i should have (despite my efforts to case), and somehow(???) i ended up getting cop checked despite being obviously town.

Oh well, town swept it pretty easily anyways. Proud of my reads in this one.

Started this game under a secret alt with the intention of trying out a different playstyle, and wow did it work.

The setup was arguably really townsided but none of my reads had anything to do with the setup. Another game to be really proud of.

My top scumread was on scum and i correctly knew when she was fakeclaiming, but i never did much to push any of my reads. In fact, i didn't cast a vote the entire game. Two scum occupied the bottom spots of my early readslist and the entire scumteam was getting pretty heavily suspected all of day one, but this lead to some pretty serious distancing from all of them. While i was away from the thread town lost its mind and made a terrible lynch, but i shot the mafia backup jailkeeper. From there someone i was pretty strongly townreading before got run up and fakeclaimed jailkeeper as town, i reconsidered my scumread on scum, and after we lynched the fakeclaiming townie i shot town and died during the night. A grueling game, despite what the title may have indicated. After a modkill on town cutting day one short and a no-kill i replaced in to a slot very close to getting lynched and managed to stop that wagon. At this point in terms of reads i was on to one scum but was strongly townreading the other. I don't even want to talk about what happened come the next day (mylo), but after we lynched town it was only due to a lucky jailkeep that town didn't lose. From there, for me it was simply a matter of getting myself townread and figuring out which two of the three players left as not confirmed were the scumteam. Well, I make it sound simple, but it was actually an incredibly frustrating and exhausting experience. I'm just glad that town actually ended up winning with how much effort i put into this game.

Something of a town stomp, honestly (rare for normal games, from what i understand). Town lynched scum three days in a row.

I replaced in and confidently identified scum who had fakeclaimed – unfortunately, the rest of town was adamant that they wouldn't lynch a power role claim day one, and were adamant in lynching someone i was hard townreading. Come day two, due to some screwy night actions another player i was strongly townreading seemed to be guiltied, and again flipped town. Come mylo, the scum pr claim still wasn't dead but people still weren't willing to lynch there. A townie tried to pull some gambit where they said that they "might be claiming a guilty" on me when he came back from his 3 day V/LA and ended up getting counterclaimed by the real cop (who had forgotten to submit a night action for two days). The townie came back and got quicklynched before i could really say much on the subject.

Oh, and the mod abandoned the game a bit less than half of the way through. This game started before Team Mafia right below and ended a week or so after Team Mafia did.

I guess i'll use this space to talk a little bit about team mafia in general. My game specifically first, though.

I had read through all of the old assassin in the palace games on mafiascum, so i was pretty excited to play this game and even more excited when people actually went along with the optimal strategy.

I count this game as a town loss, although i guess i don't have to – it's not really "mafia" per se.

Another fun game but another one that i found it kind of hard to get into. I got into somewhat of an argument with someone early day one over his pushing of lurkers and we both agreed to drop it for the duration of day one. Well, we came back to that wagon at the end of the day and he ended up flipping scum.

A few lynches had passed and town wasn't really looking any closer to victory when we got to 5 alive, 1 scum. Hooray!

Another game i'd recommend as reading for those so inclined – i think it's an interesting one.

My first real scumgame.

Coming into day three, I knew that I had been guiltied by the cop, but I still wanted to try for a perfect mafia win, so rather than guiltying the cop first or anything like that which would just end up with my lynch the next day, I tried to get a lynch through elsewhere so that the next day i could counterclaim in lylo for the win right there.

Day three i was certain of who the last scum was but we lynched elsewhere and some unforuante replacements and lurking lead to town hitting deadline without lynching in lylo and scum winning a game they really shouldn't have won. For my first game, however, it was very fun, and left me wanting more.
