Newbie 802 was a mafiascum game played in the Road to Rome newbie forum. It lasted from Wednesday, June 17, 2009 until Tuesday, July 28, 2009 (1 month, 11 days, 2 hours, and 7 minutes) and featured a total of 724 posts (from the mod's first post until the final hammer). The Mafia won a perfect victory.

Set-Up
The setup for Newbie 802 featured a 9-player F11 setup. Though there are four possibilities for the setup, this one featured 2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doctor, and 6 Vanilla Townies.
Day/Night 1
Day 1 ended with the elimination of Peanutman, a vanilla townie.
Ironically, peanutman was the one placed at L-1 within the first two pages of the game during the RVS stage. However, people realized how close peanutman was to an elimination and unvoted to be safe. On page 20, there were two major bandwagons: one on peanutman and one on noramp. However, noramp finally hammered peanutman after checking with everyone else to make sure that it was ok to do so.
Night 1 ended with the death of the doctor: Col.Cathart.
Day/Night 2
Day 2 ended with the elimination of noramp, a vanilla townie.
From the beginning, imkingdavid, one of the scum, cast a vote on noramp, with an explanation that his suspicions from Day 1 remained. Lasaiki, one of the Vanilla Townies was quick to say how scummy it was for noramp to have hammered peanutman so quickly and cut discussion, and noramp retaliated with a vote against lasaiki. Pablo Molinero (another Vanilla Townie) also voted lasaiki, arguing that noramp had given people a chance to ask for more time to discuss things and she had posted but had not said anything about it. After a couple of pages of discussion, Manzcar (Vanilla Townie) voted noramp and listed his suspicions of him. Fallen Angel (Vanilla Townie) placed the hammer based on noramp alledgedly strawmanning, "major hipocracy, constant backtracking, [and] appeals to emotion" among other things.
Night 2 ended with the death of Pablo Molinero (vanilla townie).
Day 3/Endgame
Day 3 ended with the elimination of Lasaiki, a vanilla townie.
Lasaiki was placed under the heat because of her actions during day 2 (attacking noramp for his hammer on peanutman). Imkingdavid and Sotty pulled out a victory by convincing Fallen Angel to vote Lasaiki as well.
Endgame: Vanilla townies Fallen Angel and Manzcar were endgamed, and Mafia Goons imkingdavid and Sotty7 achieved a perfect mafia win.
