A classical case of the town getting overconfident after getting an early lead. After they lynched scum on D1, then went on to quick-lynch (and inevitably, lol-mislynch) two day phases in a row, allowing the scum to snipe off members of the town with impunity. Furthermore, the Neapolitan got a guilty on a player who had claimed Vanilla Townie pre-result who was not, yet they failed to lynch that player. With the quoting of a role PM forcing a modkill, the town was left in mylo. The town had one JOAT who, thanks to the quicklynches, never got to send in a night action prior to the slot being replaced thanks to a flake, and the same Neapolitan had two other innocents, but they failed to actually put these to use, allowing for an easy scum win.

A record-breaking game...literally. The first day saw little productive and the town ended up lynching their own PR. Night 1 saw the gunsmith get a guilty on the scum's star player (both by dayplay and by role), and the scum also had to struggle against a competent vig making smart kill choices. The game was ultimately lost for the town when they lynched a SECOND of their key power roles, allowing scum to off the conftown player who had the best reads without it condemning them, leading to a 3p lylo where one town player had strongly held beliefs of another being scum, which the scum took advantage of.

A reasonable, but not exceptional, display of skill by both factions left this game rather close for the most part. I was a bit saddened when Alisae gave up though, as I felt that Alisae had a chance of winning the game, or at least making it to 3p Lylo. This marks the first game a town of mine has won under my current account.

Game contained a mechanic: players within the light were role madness able to use their role; players within the dark were mountainous and would only have their role type revealed. Both halves had a topic. Mafia could switch two players with equal distribution; disproportionately unequal distribution would be solved by vote. Every mafiate had a second role. Roles with asterisks started/died in dark; roles with percent signs are nonstandard.

The Murderer Mafia

Openly a 1:8 game, where if the killer is lynched D1 a town player is selected by the killer to become the new killer but otherwise will if lynched cause a town win. Flavor-heavy, and barely a mafia game, but one mastina intends to run regardless.

Though almost ready to run, mastina has no set idea of when she will do so.

Multi-queue

Majesty Mafia

An ambitious undertaking, wherein mastina intends to run through all 33 campaigns with semi-open setups drawing from the mechanics of the game. If the town wins, she moves on to the next campaign; if the town loses, she rerolls the game die (perhaps with a balance tweak) and runs the same semi-open setup (with a different permutation of the roles) until the town wins, allowing the campaign to progress.


It is unfortunately a massive work in progress, as not only must mastina create mechanics which are reasonably consistent across all possible permutations and game sizes which will maintain balance, but also her ability to research the source material is growing increasingly limited as her available methods continue to shrink with time rather than grow.
