Summary
The Governor has the ability to prevent a lynch. During twilight, the Govenor may ask the moderator to stop a lynch. The Governor cannot stop his own lynch or prevent a player from being lynched twice.
A variant of this role, the Town Attorney, selects a person during the day or previous night to advocate for. If successful, the person selected cannot be lynched that day (or the following day, if the action is selected at night.) Like the Governor, the Attorney cannot select the same person twice, and cannot select himself.
