;Tabloid Reporter:
Every night you're on the road, making up a role for some player. You must post a detailed role for one player every day (use your imagination). As long as you do so, you have immunity from night attacks. Failure to do so will result in dismissal and losing the night protection.
;The 3 Night Watchmen:
* You can choose one player each night to watch. You will not be able to stop an attack on that player should it happen, but you will shoot the attacker. You can shoot someone only once in the game though.
Mod's Note: Regular version.

Mod's Note: Paranoid version - shoots anyone attacking, healing or investigating.

Mod's Note: Insane version: shoots himself in the foot instead of the attacker (can't vote one day).

;The Fremen:
The Fremen comprised Stilgar (Cubestudent) and seven Fremen warriors (Antrax, Corsato, the Master, Mikegoo, mith, Soothsayer, Zealot). Stilgar had the power of execution. Whenever he felt like it, he could choose a player to be executed the next day - in addition to the regular lynching. The Fremen warriors had the power of a night kill once in the game, with the proviso that they could not kill Stilgar. In addition, if they killed a Fremen, they might have died of humiliation (50% chance). The Fremen warriors and Stilgar were all single units - no one knew one another.

;Beloved Princess:
1) If you get killed during the night, there will be a day of mourning and no lynch.
2) If you get lynched, the last person to vote for you will commit suicide from remorse.
;Executioner:
One time during the game, you have the power of (daytime) execution. Email me the night before if you want to use that power, as well as your choice of victim.
;Prophet:
As a prophet, you may do better in this game than in real life. Every night you can predict (by e-mail) who will get lynched next day. If you are right, you have immunity to nightkills the following night.
;Unknown Storyteller:
As long as you do not reveal your role (my judgement when that happens), you will be able to survive night kills by telling your would-be killer an enchanting story (they will be told so). Should you be targeted again by the same killer on another night, you die though. If you get targeted twice in one night, you are gone.
;Role Stealer (DP version):
Your task is to be the last one standing. Your mafia experience has made it easy for you to play the role of other people, and that's what you'll use in this game. Every night you can e-mail me the name of a player, whose role you want to take over for the night. I will let you know his/her capabilities, which you can use to meet your target.
NOTE: if you choose to play someone's role, you will be immune to someone targeting yourself, but you will suffer the same fate that your choice would have suffered (if that's not clear: if someone wants to kill you, they fail. If you choose to play X during night one, and a killer targets X you are dead (unless a doc heals X).
In addition, you have a killing option (ripping people apart by your claws) to choose instead of the role playing. Let me know when you want to use that and who your target is.
;Holy Person:
Every night you can (if you want to) email me the name of someone you want to see protected from a lynch the next day through your prayers.

===DP7===
;Funny Drunkard:
You know there is something you are required to do every night. Unfortunately, you are too drunk to remember what. Do not worry, RNG will make choices for you. You win when the town wins. (actually just a townie, but it's a funny role)
;The "this is morally wrong!" Guy:
You are very much against all this violence, including the lynching. You will therefore not vote, unless prompted by another player, and you will never be able to cast a deciding vote. You win when the town wins.
;Frustrated Townie SK:
Every night you can sing for someone which will drive them insane, so they'll kill themselves. Send me an e-mail with a name if you want to do so. You win when the town wins.
Mod's Note: If Frustrated Townie SK decides to kill someone at night, she will be come so frustrated by the result that she will continue to kill until she's the only one left (changing winning condition from town to serial killer).
;Spaceship Computer Cop/SK:
Original role:  As a super-intelligent computer, you can every night deduce someone’s role name (send me an e-mail), but you still have to decide good/evil yourself. You win when the town wins. If you contribute by voting to a lynching of a shipmate, the thought of having killed your shipmate will drive you nuts. you will go on a killing streak, electrocuting one player at a time until you're the only one left (changing winning condition from town to serial killer).
;Reporter:
You are a reporter. One time during the game you can send me an email with a name and I will tell you the full role – but you have to post name and role the next day, whether you want to or not. You win when the town wins.

;One-Time Doc:
Take a wild guess...
;The Savior:
You can save a person from lynching if you want to. Just make a post during the day time including the word pray and the name of the one you want saved (not necessarily adjacent).
;Townie with a Cop Record:
A townie, but with a grudge against the police. Every night you choose one name (by e-mail). If you find a member of the Police, I pass on that information to the mafia.
