Cultafia is the term for anti-Town factions that can both kill and recruit. How this is done can vary from game to game, but generally the Cultafia can recruit players until its Cult Leader dies, at which point the Cult members gain a factional kill like a Mafia.

If the Cultafia does not die immediately in a game, it is almost guaranteed to win. Do not use this.

Cultafia is an alignment-changing role, and thus requires declaring a game mechanically bastard.

Standard version

The Cultafia is a Cult which also has a factional kill, which can be used at Night once the Cult Leader is dead.




Sample Role PMs

The standardized Role PM for "Cultafia" describes the faction as follows:

  • As a win condition: You win when all the threats to the Cult are gone and at least one Cultist is still alive, or when nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Example (vanilla)

Welcome to game! You are a Cultafioso.

Your team-mates are names. You may talk to them here during night phases and confirmations only.

You have the following active abilities, but may use only one per Night:

  • Each Night, if there are no living Cult Leaders in your Cult, you may target a player. Assuming no interference with your action, that player will die.

You win when all the threats to the Cult are gone and at least one Cultist is still alive, or when nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Confirm by replying to this PM with a summary of your role.

Example (power role)

Welcome to game! You are a Cultafia Cult Leader.

Your team-mates are names. You may talk to them here during night phases and confirmations only.
