Buzzword is a tell used to spot someone for being scummy because they are using "buzzwords" to advance a case instead of looking at motivation.

What makes buzzwords scummy?
Buzzwords are considered scummy because it is possible to just toss out a couple of them in a stream and have it look bad for whoever is being attacked.
