Something strange is happening in the Mainstream. Nothing is particularly out of the ordinary since, well, this is the Mainstream we're talking about here. The supernatural is the norm these days, right? Rhetorical question. Of course it is. This means that nobody really bats much of an eyebrow when something that might typically pique attention walks down Mainstream Avenue. Well, long story short, they probably should've. The newcomer was a ferocious and hairy animal of sorts... and it wasn't going to stop until the blood of every person on this street was spilled all over the place. It just wanted a new home and it deemed Mainstream Avenue the place to be. What it didn't know, however, was that this was a more than formidable place in its own right. Several well-established residents called this place home. Some more respected through their accolades and some feared simply due to their hypnotizing gaze. It didn't take long for the street to realize the position it had been placed in. The particularly savage of the group knew what had to be done. Things were in the midst of getting ugly as the sun came up. Most came out of their homes with open mouths and disbelief in their eyes. The mayor had been murdered! And not just murdered, but brutally murdered. You could see the claw marks and the man's intestines lined the driveway of the home the man once lived in.
